Teething

I had always heard that babies can start teething as young as three months. Well Baby P is just now turning three months tomorrow, and has THREE teeth coming in! I was so shocked when I realized she had one coming in. She had been fussy for a couple of days and she got to the point where she was crying when she was eating. I had felt of her gums, but only felt of the bottom.., silly me. My aunt had felt that same day and felt one on top. I'm not sure why I thought the first one would be on the bottom but I did. Anyways, that was the first one we found and then I was rubbing oraljel on her gums and found one on the bottom too! Then I found another one the other day! I had no clue she would teeth this early and three teeth already! Overall she has done okay with it, but she still has her fits over it. I know it has to hurt their little mouths. :( Breaks my heart when she crying and hurting and I've done everything I can, oraljel, tylenol and gripe water. The worst part about her starting so young; she can't hold onto anything. She can hold her little blankets, but she doesn't like to use the teething toys even when we hold them for her. She either takes her Paci or her hands (her favorite). She LOVES being held when she is hurting and it is the most precious thing ever. Has anyone else had babies teething so early? Any tips?
